Michael Carozza B.Sc. (Hons.), MSc., ND (Cand.)

Michael Carozza ND (Cand.) began his career as a young scientist interested in biology and human nutrition and completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Guelph Ontario. Upon completion of his Bachelor of Science, he wanted to apply his scientific skill and nutritional knowledge in a research oriented program. Michael then applied for a Masters degree in a very competitive program headed by the department of Human Biology and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph under the Supervision of Dr. Bruce Holub. Dr. Holub is one of the key individuals in Canada who put a ban against Trans fat and one of the top leading experts on Omega 3 research in the country. Michael’s clinical experience was set to evolve the understanding of Omega 3 (EPA and DHA from fish oil) and the protective effects it has on the cardiovascular system. He learned first hand that natural supplements can be used to help heal, treat and reduce disease. Immediately after completing his Masters degree Michael attended the CCNM (The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine); where he completed a four year medical program in Naturopathic medicine.
