Jamie Langlois RHN, RNCP

Jamie Langlois is a registered holistic nutritionist who is passionate in her cause. She wants her clients to empower their lives by taking charge of their own health. Dietary choices that are made clearly have a significant impact an overall health.
Our genes are provided at birth, and we have no choice. Research is now showing that we can control those genes by healthy diet and lifestyle decisions.
Jamie Langlois can help you make those decisions, and design a program for your specific needs.
Jamie first learned about physical fitness at Seneca College. The Fitness and Leadership program taught her the principles and benefits of regular exercise and training.
Thereafter, Jamie personally experienced her own health issues including poor digestion, extreme fatigue, weight gain, and recurring rashes. This caused her quest for a solution that could only be answered by nutritional changes in her own life. Jamie’s passion about nutrition was sparked when she determined how small changes in her diet made dramatic positive changes in her sense of well-being.
Jamie attended and received a diploma at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. This school teaches its students to focus on the whole person – body, mind and spirit.
We are all biomechanically unique and require individual nutritional and lifestyle programs. The mind-body balance connection must be preserved in order to enhance the healing process.
Jamie’s approach to weight loss is unique. In fact, it should more accurately be described as fat loss. She is a certified First Line Therapy (FLT) Coach. FLT is a lifestyle program that focuses on body composition rather than weight loss. Using the Bio Impedance Analysis, weight loss can be tracked to ensure that the loss is coming from fat, not muscle. FLT may be beneficial for individuals with diabetes, blood sugar issues, cardiovascular issues, overweight/obesity, and gastrointestinal problems to name a few. For more information on FLT please click here.
Jamie’s special interests and experience include fat loss, digestive issues (from food allergies and intolerance to inflammatory bowel disease) children’s nutrition (including autism (i.e. gluten free/casein free diets), behavioral problems and ADHD), anti-inflammatory diets, and stress management.
